 2009 Aries Highlights Pluto is at the upper most part of your chart and will make you transform your career in some way. Maybe you will completely change professions. If you do, you will find yourself, most likely, in some kind of very powerful position. The most part of having Pluto here is that you learn to use your power wisely. For if you do not, the world will know and things will not go well for you. However, if you read this site, you aren’t the type to do that to begin with, therefore, I expect you to have the power to make a difference in people’s lives. The very best part of your solar chart is that Venus is sitting on your new solar charts ascendant. This is going to make you very pretty (or handsome) and give you attracting ability like you haven’t had in quite some time. If you are selling it, others will buy it. If you are looking for a new job, you definitely can get one. This will also help your overall health as long as you don’t overindulge. Not that a mellow Aries will overdo anything… Yeah right. So you really need to keep up your work out routines or you will start looking a little soft around the edges. This is a good time to revamp your wardrobe or somehow spiff up your appearance in general. I don’t really recommend unnecessary surgeries, but if it will make you feel better about yourself, and you can afford it, then go have a little work done. Just remember that every time you use anesthesia you are taking a risk. Almost all of the time it is safe…but it only takes once for it not to be. I don’t react well to drugs myself, tend to go into shock, so if you happen to be this way too, be extra careful. I also want you to be careful about doing things for which you really are not physically spry enough to do. You have a bit of a signature for breaking bones or pulling muscles this year, and it could put you in the hospital for a short time. If you like working out in a strenuous manner, make sure your body is up for all you are putting it through before you get too gung ho about a new sport or physical endeavor. Your friends are going to be a real blessing to you this year. Maybe you need to give them a little pay back for helping you out of so many jams time and again. You will have many people who want to be your friend, but I would advise you check them all out before you let them fly under your radar. Especially if you are in a field where people tend to pander after you. Yes, you are very popular this year and things should definitely go your way in many areas as long as you don’t misuse that Pluto thing I already mentioned. Also, watch your kid’s health a little bit. Now don’t get upset by this, it is probably nothing. But make sure they are hydrated and pay extra attention to their bodily fluids in general. If you are looking to have a child, this might be a great time to try, but there also looks to be some disappointment here. But hey…it is a lot of fun trying anyway so don’t get all bogged down in the mire of not being able to have what you want exactly as you want it. If you are worried about a child, don’t be. Looks to me like your kid can kick some arse and take a few names to me. The south node is also here and while this isn’t a great auspice, it can be a very blessed one. You are not supposed to dwell of 5th house issues, but rather 11th house issues are more important this year. Join a club, hang out with your friends and do some good as a group. This is not an easy path by any means, but it is the way you will grow the most. Talk is cheap this year, and actions definitely speak louder than words in your world. Oh, and don’t ask someone else to do something you haven’t first done yourself. Your experience is what will carry you farthest this year. This year doesn’t look half bad for you Rams. Venus is your personal protector and no one can mess with you too much with her graceful, magnetic and boutiful presence on your side. Last years solar chart had a plethora of planets above the horizon line and this year is not going to give you much change. This phenomenon just means that there will be a lot going on in your public life rather than in your domestic sphere. This bodes well for your career in most cases. Your career and public image sector is lit up like a Christmas tree. This will be a very good thing for most people…but of course it won’t be for everyone. And for the ones whose reputation takes a beating, well, it might be the universe trying to tell you something. But, Jupiter is here, and Jupiter is the bearer of good tidings…again…most of the time. Mostly…Jupiter is the bearer of truth. And sometimes truth is hard to take my friends. There are a great number of people in the world who rely on blaming others for their problems. However, the major up side is that offers will pour in if you remain honest and have some element of integrity. No one is perfect and most of us have lots of problems. Own them and the world with love you. Disavow them, act in a petty manner or use your influence to control others and you might be in for a surprise or two. Jupiter is giving you good auspice now with your career however and in this arena you are golden. And with Jupiter’s move into Aquarius, innovation is key. You could be offered a job in any area ruled by Aquarius, such as computers, electronics, and any endeavor for which you must be able to think out of the box. Not only that, but some of this will be really exciting, if not overwhelming, so make sure you are up for the challenge. The north node is also present very high in your chart. This means that the hardest and most rewarding path you can follow will the that of attention seeking. Yes…really. God wants you to get a lot more attention in this world and things will happen to make doors open for you. Perhaps even some very grand things. But, as I said, this is not an easy path and it is one for which you may not really be interested in pursuing. You don’t have to either as long as you haven’t relied on south node issues for way too long. In your case this would pertain to your family, real estate dealings or your past. You are missing a key element in your arsenal this year…the element of water. This is apt to make you a little less emotional than you might otherwise be. Just be careful that it doesn’t make you uncaring for other people’s plights too. Not that I think anyone that reads this blogette would be that way. And in some cases this will manifest as a projection, which means you will encounter someone who is less emotional than you anticipated as well. This is fine unless you are in love with them, in which case, things could be a little bumpy and you could get your “feelers” hurt. A lot. Speaking of love… The planet of love and sex are in combo in your 12th house, which in my meager opinion exalts Venus, due to it being exalted in Pisces. This is great. However, Mars here is pretty weakened. This may mean that someone you never even thought about before has some ideations on you. This is a sexy energy and while your sex appeal may be pretty well kept under wraps, it certainly won’t have escaped the notice of someone. Hopefully someone special and not some of the other more negative traits of Pisces. If they do decide to come out of the closet about their feelings for you, take a lot of time to get to know them before you let them in your inner sanctum. The hand of God is pointing to your education sector and Pluto. People in power really turn me off, but if you like people who pomp and circumstance, you will have a chance to get on board with some kind of power broker. This doesn’t mean it will be smooth sailing however, and sometimes Pluto can turn nasty on you. Therefore, you really need to be aware of what you are getting yourself into and check them out. My underlying message to everyone is to think about what you do. Think about what you stand for and who you influence. You are seen as a very special person by the world at large this year. People may even think you are a genius, a prophet or at the very least, a very apt role model. Be all you can be and more. And please pray for guidance before you go forth and conquer. People who are conquered never thank their conquerors even if saving them was seen as in their own best interests. But mostly…go find your God and tell that entity you love them. You would be surprised at how far that will go to easing your burdens. 2009 Gemini Highlights Lucky Jupiter is at the pinnacle of your new 2009 solar chart Twins. This is a great auspice in general and since it is in Aquarius…and Aquarius’ ruler is sitting very high in the sky as well…this should be a great year for you. If you work in communications, electronics or anything requiring more investigation and innovation you will definitely be tops in your field. The only problem here is Chiron, but even he will bring good tidings if you have been wounded in the past. You actually have a good number of planets sitting in the uppermost sector of your chart. This also bodes well for getting noticed and being on the cutting edge of things. If you have been hiding your talents from the world, you will be asked to go forth and make yourself shine in the most bright and wonderful ways. Now the one two punch I am so famous for…the dark side. The moon is in your 6th house and making some kind of negative aspects a couple of different ways. The 6th house rules your health and the moon has a lot to do with all of our bodily fluids as well as the stomach and breasts. The bodily fluids can be the biggest worry sometimes. Stay hydrated and do whatever regular checks you usually do and all should be well. You could find that you are a little more emotional than usual, or that co-workers upset you. Your pet might decide, with or without your permission, to become in the family way. We really don’t need any more pets in the world until we learn to take care of the ones we already have, so maybe you should spay or neuter if you haven’t already. This isn’t a year to spend a lot of time in your community, with your extended family or just hanging out in the same old place you’ve been for ten years. The universe [God] expects you to get out and do things for others. And I think it is not just a friendly invitation, I think it is more of a mandate. If you haven’t ever gone to school, now would be a good time to do so. If you have ever desired to see the world, well, the world is just dying to see you. Humanitarianism is a big push this year, by much higher powers than my little words. If you have a gift in this field use it and have fun with it. You my friends have the ability to make others laugh, even on a bad day, and the world is really in need of a few laughs right now. Comedians are a rare breed and if you can in any way make the world a lighter and brighter place this year, please do so. Have I mentioned yet how sexy you are this year? You really do have some powerful magnetism at your fingertips. Just be really careful not to attract an obsessive fan or two. You also may find yourself with a lot of power over other people’s money this year so use it wisely and be aware that the decisions you make can impact others for good or for ill. Uranus in Pisces is sitting at the pinnacle of your chart, which is really good for jump starting a new career or making some changes to an old one. If you work in an area involving computer diagnostics or something to do with changes in shipping or oceans, people are going to want your input. Well, everyone will want it except your best friend and partner. And this is the only time I am going to mention these people in your life, because it is the least favorable looking part of your chart this year. Not that it looks completely horrible and it might even offer up a really intense and wonderful relationship…just watch yourself here because it could be kind of emotional. Anyway, on to happier auspices. You do have a guardian angel on your side and there might even be two or more of them. Your dreams will speak to you and you may have a couple of major intellectual breakthroughs if you take up meditation or at least try to spend a little time by yourself or with someone special. Intimate discussions can turn romantic, especially in clandestine situations. The house with the most activity in your new 2009 solar chart is the 8th. This house is the heaviest hitter in the zodiac and one of the houses of endings. As I mentioned in the Jupiter offering, your partner’s finances could greatly expand, or they might have taken a huge sum and lost your life savings. I don’t think this is the most likely auspice since Jupiter really is a nice guy, but try to take whatever happens in stride. Money ain’t all that…but it is a necessary evil. Jupiter will give you the means to cover your losses, and this could actually happen quite suddenly. And even people who you thought were not helpful may offer a helping hand. People will want to talk to you and can offer you some nurturing words, or perhaps they could use some from you. There is also the possibility that you are a little too free with your words or that you will talk about yourself too much. Talking about yourself is fine, but talking about others…well…that’s gossip and that will bite you in the ass eventually. We all have trouble with that, so it isn’t a huge deal, but just something you might want to work on. Also, you will need to keep a close watch on your bodily fluids…which looks to be the worst health problem for you this year. The moon isn’t the best planet to have in your health house, and it at least is just barely there, so it shouldn’t bother some of you at all. Just go read up on the moon’s rulership of the body and pay attention to those areas which might be prone to growths and such. All in all, I have hopes that by summer everyone will be having a lot better time. I think the first few months of the year will be difficult, but by June you should be able to tell if everything is going to even out for you. I already gave you a major head’s up on your partnership issues this year in the Jupiter section, so just go back and read that part and I won’t bore you with more Jupiter auspices. Friendships and humanitarian causes are potentially lucky for you this year. I think it will depend on what you put into it though, and there is likely to be some cost associated with whatever you do. Dealings with energetic types will be most enjoyable and enlightening, but watch out for anger issues to surface. This shouldn’t be too much of a problem because you have very good emotional energy this year, but you will also be a bit more excitable. And while you have decent emotional energy, there will be some, perhaps a boss or some creative type, who really pisses you off. This actually may be due to a lackadaisical attitude on your part and your mistake is pointed out by this person. All of those easy emotions can cause you to be a little too slow in your approach, or perhaps you will put too much emotion into something that really isn’t worthy of your time. The other side of this is as we discussed in the Jupiter section: That you are called upon to be a little more nurturing and forgiving towards others in your life. I actually doubt this is the case since most Leo’s exude warmth and generosity. You have a thinking moon this year, and it will ask you to explore some pretty innovative and far out concepts if you are able. Some aren’t, and that is okay too. No one can make you feel something you don’t feel after all. Your Mom may have a tough year due to having changes coming at her too fast: Especially if you Mom is lacking in innovative drive and especially if she is older. The energy surrounding your moon is pretty potent and sometimes I see a signature like this in people who have Alzheimer’s or some other neurological problem. Now, just because your Mom starts forgetting a couple of things don’t label her as having Alzheimer’s. Everyone has on days and off days. Be more worried if they start wandering off or have trouble doing things they once found to be simple. For instance, if they used to play an instrument and no longer can find the notes, then maybe there is something wrong. And again, this is meant primarily for those who have aging parents. Your finances will remain stable, but only if you are in a Virgo related field…especially a very intellectual one. Otherwise, things could slow down a bit for you on the work front. Mercury is visiting this sector too, and he can bring some criticism regarding your finances, and it will come from someone who pretends to be a friend or maybe even a female boss who acts friendly but has some ulterior motive. Thing is, this person is sitting on some pretty shaky ground themselves, which is why they have to find cause to bother you. They know they are lacking and inept, so they have need to create stories to make others look worse. They won’t win of course because you have no secrets to hide and even if you do, their life is so much weirder than yours it’s ridiculous. Just know that at least one person (most likely a female) who purports to be your friend isn’t. In fact there are a bunch of pathetic gossips in your world now, so I would be extra careful about whom you call friend. Think about why they might want to be your friend. What is their motive? Do you even have any common interests? These are kind of iffy times my friend and I am not telling you not to trust anyone, but rather that you should keep eyes open and watch for false friends who look to use you or pick your brain for their own purposes. You do have some possible wonderful auspices with regard to your closest partner…either marriage or a business partner, and even a close friend. But this is most likely to pertain to a marriage partner. Like I already told you, your emotional connection is very profound with your partner this year. What I haven’t mentioned is that your partner may become extremely popular and even famous and glamorous. This may be kind of hard for Leo’s who want to be King all the time and won’t let others take center stage. As I have said, why anyone wants attention from this superficial world is beyond me, but some do. If they do, you must not stand in their way. Just ride the winds my friends but make sure you have a firm grip on the rudder at all times. And remember…this is a year of miracles. I have already seen one and you will too. Cheers to 2009! 2009 Virgo Highlights We all get a fresh start for the new year and in the case of the Virgin, there will be some pretty interesting auspices. Yes, the world is a bit chaotic now, but that doesn’t mean our lives have to be. And guess what? Of all the signs in the zodiac wheel, Virgo has control. Yes…really. You are in the driver’s seat and everyone is looking to you for answers. To say that we have entered a period of hard times is an understatement for many who are watching their retirement savings dwindle before their eyes or their jobs disappear. However, for every cloud there is always a silver lining…for every valley there is a mountain…and for every hate there is a love. We are best served if we can meet in the middle of these pendulum sweeps, but if we can’t, well, we just have to do the best that we can do. And you Virgo are being forced, in some cases, to be the voice of reason. I have Uranus exceedingly prominent in my chart, so you might want to look for guidance from a calmer Virgo soul than I. At any rate…there are good auspices…in a rather back door manner…in your new 2009 solar chart. Venus, the harbinger of all good things in life, is sitting rather discreetly and quietly in your 12th house. No, the 12th house isn’t the best house in the zodiac, however, with Venus here…not much can harm you. You have major guardian angels and anyone who is your secret enemy will be met with their metaphorical demise in God’s good time. In fact…”I pity the fool” for those who used to watch the A-Team and Mr. T. This auspice (Venus in the 12th) is actually opposed to Jupiter/Chiron/Neptune in your HOME. This can mean some pretty opposing things. Jupiter/Neptune interchanges can be the most sublime on the planet. Unfortunately, not many folks make the range of sublime and I wouldn’t automatically assume anyone is great until you have some proof of it. That being said, some will be the greatest healers/philosophers/teachers on the planet. And with this in your HOME piece of the pie chart, well, it bodes better for you than for others. So why am I still a bit hinkey on the subject? Because of the little asteroid Chiron. Chiron is a really relevant asteroid folks. I have used it from the beginning of my quest…though I now use most of the named rocks floating around within our solar system. However, I am not an expert on the others. I am somewhat of an expert on Chiron because this one rules people with disabilities. No accident it occurs in my chart as the terrible things in Texas as pertains to their system for developmental disabilities services and housing of people in state institutions FINALLY comes under scrutiny. In your world, look for someone to idolize and adore you. They need your fervor, they need your direction and they need your honesty. This is because they are wounded and looking for strength. Please don’t let them down. This may mean you need to take care of someone who is disabled on a routine basis, or maybe that someone you see as you go to the coffeeshop every day will make a huge impact on your life or you on theirs. Bad news? Jupiter has left the stadium of fun. Not that the fun ever got off the ground since Pluto was lurking all along. And now he is the soul survivor remaining in the funhouse. Lonely that is, even for the god of the underworld. More simply however, Pluto here is intense. If you are in the world of dating, watch for dark swarthy types to attract, as well as the extremely powerful. The north node is in attendance also. This is a big deal…bigger than the presence of Plutoid Pluto (and don’t even get me started on the whole “Plutoid” thing). The north node is the path we are to follow. This is the road God will open for us and, even if it scares the bejeebers out of us, we need to meander our way along it. In your case this has to do with foreign children, your own kids, group love, amazing creativity, innovative inventions, unusual investment strategies, and quirky lovers. Oh…and brilliance beyond pale. If you are creative by nature, this is HUGE. Use it please…the world needs a new Einstein…and fast. I know we won’t find one, but at least we could use a reasonable facsimile thereof. Artists…go art…computer programmers…invent a new program for Microsoft to replace Vista please…power brokers, do us all a favor and have a Pow Wow to figure out ONE problem you can pull together to solve. Expect a few of the friends or group affiliations you have nurtured along to end…perhaps a bit abruptly. Also, being weepy is part of this energy, so perhaps a friend will need to cry on your shoulder, or you on theirs. Crying won’t help much, but it is a necessary function of the body on an emotional level. If the feelings are dammed up now…they will just build…so let those tears flow…then move on. Mars here is ordering you to be strong for your friends…they too need you. Gosh I hope you are up for all of this responsibility. But I know you are and you can do whatever God demands of you…so GO DO IT. This house also rules goals and you must define yours this year. What is it you are wishing to accomplish during your all too short time on this earth? You have to figure it out now my friends. It matters what stand you take in this world, but mostly it matters that you take one. You appear to have a lot of secrets this year and some of them will be wonderful jokes that you must keep to yourself; however, a couple of your secrets look a little more problematic. These involve long term relationships as well as money issues. Unfortunately you have the “good-bye” signature sitting with the money, friends and love planet all year. So, you do the math. Few people are not being affected by the current economic doldrums so you should have plenty of folks to commiserate with anyway. If you are married, it looks like you could decide to amicably part ways. Fortunately, the opposite is also a possibility and you could decide, quite suddenly, to make a firm commitment with someone you have dated for quite some time. There may be some very practical reasons you decide to tie the knot…like it is cheaper to pay rent on one apartment rather than two. Many of the old familiar faces you are used to seeing in your day to day routine could also suddenly be gone. The changes may be hard to take at first, but all of these endings are needed for you to see some aspect of yourself you have been avoiding. And perhaps, to give you a kick in the pants to get some much needed independence or just get you out of a well worn and boring rut. Your energy level towards your career may not be what it has been in the past for some reason, even though it looks like you will be expected to work even harder just to stay even. Mars is conjunct your south node and is sitting very high in your chart. This is a huge energy drain in most cases. The only saving grace is that you may have someone, probably a man, who is in your corner at work and there will be little anyone can do to dissuade this person of the wonderful opinion they have of you. If you deal with other people’s money, expect a lot of fluctuations to occur with it. The good thing is Venus is going to help you out and keep things in the positive column. Watch your mom or wife’s health this year closely because a small thing can turn very big very quick. The best news occurs in your 5th house of creativity. Lucky Jupiter is hanging out here and can give your speculative ventures a major boost. I said can now, so don’t get too enthusiastic. Jupiter is actually retro in your 2009 solar chart, so it will be operating very incognito and rather differently than you would expect. Wounded Chiron and deviant Neptune are at the party as well…both also retro. If you are trying to invest this year, look at these planets and asteroid meanings in depth for some clarification on which way might work out. I don’t give money advice here, so you’ll have to do the legwork yourself. Oh, and I only lost a thousand bucks on Ford…that is all I allow myself to invest because I know I suck at it. Love affairs are likely to be odd, fun, life expanding, hopeful and perhaps offer you a glimpse at a faith you have never seen in action to this point in your life. If you are looking for love, you might try going to church…though organized religion carries its own problems and you need to be aware of those too. If your kids get invited to go to church with someone, go check out what they are teaching first and see if it even vaguely makes any sense. Same goes for any invitations they get, even from teachers and such. Now don’t get all hinkey about it, but do pay attention to who is paying attention to you and yours…that’s all I’m sayin’. Single and dating? Could be a banner year, but this isn’t a given. Sometimes people have too high of expectations for Jupiter and often things come to nothing when he is around. However, someone who you may not have thought a lot about as a romantic partner could make the perfect match for you. Not sure if it will be long term, but I can assure you it will be extremely romantic. In fact, if you are dating, insist on a little romance…initiate it yourself too. You don’t have to be sappy, but the world needs a little more love anyway, so why not start something yourself. Happy New Year! And shut up!!! Hey, I am not saying this…it is those who wish to silence your diatribe, your intensity…or maybe just your very essence. Good luck with that, I say to them, because there ain’t anyone more capable of kicking butt that you Scorp. Give no quarter and take no prisoners should be your motto. Yet…for those more meek types…there may be a problem with talking about yourself too much. Well, you can listen to them or you can tell them to go away and quit listening to you. Which is my advice… Say what you feel and if it is full of truth it won’t matter what the small minds of the world say. I am not going to boringly go around your new solar chart, but rather dig into some of the more prominent themes in your lives this year. Mars (your co-ruler) is sitting very high in your solar chart this year. This is not just good, but it is GREAT!! It is also in your career sector, so you may need to deal with some pretty severe competition, but shoot…I would bet on you as a winner every time my friends. You must be tough, stern and well, right doesn’t hurt either. You, as well as Virgo, are blessed with a guardian angel this year. Yours is protecting your very self. You also are probably trying to hide how talented, handsome or sweet you are. Why? I am not sure, but if you are trying to hide your light, well, good luck with that. Oh, and you are likely to have a few secret admirers or friends in high places who want only the best for you. And golly gee, are you ever HOT. To say you are popular this year would be an egregious understatement. The moon is very prominent in your chart as well, which can mean fame. Who would want fame baffles me, but most people do at some level. Success is within your grasp, but please do not pursue it for its own sake. This is always folly. You must strive to gain fame, not for its sake, but rather for the sake of your ideals. And may they be sublime, spiritual and blessed…for if they are not…the world will cry. Please go out and do good things for good people. Your home is your haven this year and you will be in need of a haven from time to time. To hide from all the prying eyes of the world probably, since you are such a dynamo in your public life. You need somewhere where you can spread out and follow your bliss. With Chiron also in attendance, you could find you need to make your home more accessible to people who don’t get around that well anymore. If you have a child who resides with you, there may be some real maverick moments… Let them have their moments. The world is a bit passionless now and we are in need of people who can still dream big without needing a carrot at the end of the day. You are the dreamer this year…those ideas you have kept hidden need to be extolled upon the less imaginative and creative of the world. You hold the key to the door of innovation. DO NOT hide from this Scorpio. Take what you believe in and make others believe too. Also, you may be able to stumble into a real estate deal that is pretty major. Maybe a house that has been subjected to the problems in the mortgage market, or just being able to visualize your current abode as something grander and more wonderful will pan out well for you. Hopefully you can find the funds to do this because it will be spectacular if you can. This year looks like things are going to get a bit tougher for you in your public life Sadge. You have three of the more major unfriendlies in the upper sector of your new 2009 solar chart. If you aren’t afraid of hard work…and especially if you have been working hard for a long time with few rewards, you will have absolutely no trouble at all. This will be even more pronounced if you still actually have the energy to carry on despite your hardships. If the aforementioned doesn’t describe you, well things may not go that well with regard to your career; colligate aspirations, dealings with foreigners, in-laws or reputation. The south node is involved with this mess and this is an even more major problem for you it seems. Jobs could be hard to come by, but you shouldn’t take it personally. Times are just a little harder now and people will need to be very good at what they do in order to keep their position. I doubt it will be you who loses a job, but it does look like someone in your world could be given their walking papers. If it is you who happens to be given your walking papers, well I wouldn’t cry in your Post Toasties too long, because it looks like when you find another position it will be vastly superior to the one you left. In fact, it looks likely that you will be given a position of power which will be extremely lucrative and you will be able to make up for any loss of income you may have suffered. The moon is also involved in all of this, which is likely the culprit of the luck you will have after you experience a few hardships this year. The moon positioned high in a chart has to do with fame. Or infamy, but we will just focus on fame. If you are an artist of any kind, this energy is speaking to you. And while you may at first have problems with college, foreigners and such, when this aspect receives a major transit to it is when you may be instantly catapulted into the land of fame and fortune. And I still haven’t even mentioned the best part! Venus is very close to your solar ascendant. This is a wonderful auspice to have for the year. Venus rules our ability to attract things to us. It gives grace, poise, artistic ability and will make people want to buy whatever you are selling. If you have ever considered a career in sales, the stars are on your side now. And again…this will not be easy in the beginning. However, when you finally work out the kinks, it should be a really big deal and open a lot of doors for you. And lastly…Lucky Jupiter is in your third house of communications, siblings and vehicles. Your relationship with your siblings will greatly improve and you may even decide to do some traveling together. I wouldn’t hold out a lot of hope that all will be rosy here though, because both Neptune and Chiron are lurking as well. However, Jupiter will do much to mitigate the issues and hopefully you can avoid the wounding Chiron often brings. 2009 Capricorn Highlights Your ruler is sitting very high in your new solar chart Cappy. This is a great auspice for you as it sits in the world of authority figures and university studies. You will likely have some reason to delve into health care issues and use your extremely efficient analytical skills. In fact, your consistency is to be noted now and you could be put in charge of a very important endeavor. Others may lose a position, but the truth of it is you never really wanted it at all anyway. Sometimes there are some shaky foundations behind those really glamorous sounding offers. You will have to judge for yourself if your personal vibe can withstand any downside which could accompany all that glitz. Most can’t, which is only one of the reasons why so many are broke now. Okay, I’ve avoided the biggest issue in your chart, but it is glaringly obvious even at first glance…I just wanted to ease into it a bit. You have the most warring, difficult and powerful planets sitting smack dab on your solar ascendant. I can’t tell you how this will operate for sure…but Mars does rule surgery and, well, the ascendant sometimes affects our health. If you need surgery, you should go get the best of the best for this…especially if you end up with some rather rare or obscure condition. And the best spin for this I can give you is that at least these planets are in your sign, which makes them exceedingly more accommodating than they might be for someone else. In fact, this could catapult you into a VERY powerful time in your life. If you are an athlete you should pay close attention to this because you have some amazing athletic abilities if you work at it at all this year. Same thing goes anywhere my friends… Take it from a cynical old social worker, don’t take candy from strangers. What to do to lighten the bleep up this year? Siblings, classmates, roommates, extended family are where your fun, interesting, innovative and happy times spring. Laughter will be heard when you are in attendance with these people. And bringing some joy to people you share a space with will pay dividends in some unexpected ways. Your vehicle could develop some really quirky problems. Fixing them could be a really big problem because they could be the kind that irritates you while you drive it, but disappear as soon as you get to the shop. Truth is stranger than fiction is the battle cry for you, and the more unusual you seem, the more people will want to be around you. An office mate, neighbor or friend of a roommate might unexpectedly decide they want to be more than friends. Even if you are only together with them in a group, there is a definite exciting glow to everything. In fact they may fairly light up like a Christmas tree when you even acknowledge their presence. Be careful here though since this is a pretty unstable energy. Gifted teachers are also apt to enter your sphere. Learn what you can from them for as long as you can because truly good teachers don’t come along that often anymore. Let them inspire you to think beyond the obvious, let them lead your mind into realms which you had never before contemplated, but mostly…thank them. Just one thank you can make them want to impart more wisdom your way. And we can add teachers to the list of the underappreciated, underpaid and at risk of burning out. If it is okay with them (ask first) give them a hug to let them know what their teachings mean to you. If you are long past being taught, then think back to which teacher you had in your life that made the most difference and if you know where they are…touch them by telling them all about it…and while you are at it, share a few laughs. 2009 Aquarius Highlights Your new solar chart for 2009 reveals that you are going to be getting a lot of attention. This may be a good thing or it may be a bad thing…kind of depends on what kind of attention it is. At any rate, your 1st house is full up this year and the only problem I see is that you have an overabundance of the element of Air in your world. The Air element has to do with some really great stuff most of the time. Without it there is no levity, new ideas or spontaneity. However, with too much of it, you may not have your feet as firmly planted in the ground as you would like it to appear. However, Jupiter has entered the scene…and your sign…so I can’t imagine you will have too many real problems to contend with, at least, as long as you keep things in perspective. Jupiter here is a major grace giver and door opener. Offers will pour in to assist you, and there will some pretty innovative people bringing them to you. Just keep your guard up because people out there are getting even more desperate to find a scapegoat and an easy mark. One problem however is that Jupiter is also the expander…and in your first house he usually expands your waist line a great deal. Since your sign is one of the more compulsive out there, you may want to stay away from the all-you-can-eat buffet line. I always gain lots of weight with Jupiter in my first house. The good thing is, Saturn will come around, and give you the ability to keep to a diet and exercise program. In your case though, that is going to be a few years, it might be easier just to keep things on an even keel now. You do have some really fun vibes coming at you courtesy of Venus making a happy nod to both Mars and Jupiter. This will go a long way towards making your social life very active indeed. And, most Aquarians live for their social lives and the groups to which they belong. You won’t have any trouble finding places to go and people to see this year. The only problem with this is you may be neglecting the other more important aspects of your life. And, unless you are very wealthy, some of your fun activities could be costing you too much to keep up with; therefore you might need to think about curtailing them so you will have enough money to pay your bills. If you are looking for love, there is a good chance it will find you sometime this year. Go out with your boss, your professor or maybe say yes to a friendly couple who wants to set you up with someone they know. This may not be a durable relationship, but it should be one that will do some of that door opening I spoke of earlier. Though I think women Aquarians will have better luck in the love and dating department than men will. I say this because you have some definite moon problems this year, and the moon traditionally rules a man’s wife and other important females in his life…including mom (rules the mom for females too). Your moon is a mess in this year’s solar chart my friends. I am not going to even delve into it in detail, but be apprised that you need to steer clear of any power plays based on your emotions. For some reason, you are not seeing the whole picture here and your judgment is likely being clouded by powerful feelings…and not the best kind either. Looks more like jealousy or some other lesser life form kind of thinking to me. And maybe not by you, but maybe someone else towards you. I say this, because the moon also rules fluid resources. As in your ability to come up with cash as needed for your day to day survival. If you are in over your head due to usury, well, this could explain a few things. Learn to live within your means, and I know that most of our means just got a lot smaller as a conglomerate, but that is just God telling us we were out of line. This is a great time to go back to basics a little if you find yourself in this situation. The moon also rules homes. However, the mortgage debacle is rather old news, so we don’t need to go into that. You really do have a pretty good solar chart this year Aquarius, assuming you are able to stay away from going overboard on anything. You have the opportunity to be seen as a very glamorous individual. You also could be labeled as the next world genius. Lots of REALLY good stuff could happen with this energy. Especially look to fill a niche that someone who overplayed their hand was made to vacate. Honest Aquarius…you are golden. Take all the power and influence you have or could obtain and do something really cool with it. You are a humanitarian at heart and this year it will be leaking out all over if you will let it. The world so badly needs people who have the power to influence things for the greater good and not just for their own good. The first thing I notice about your chart Fishies is that your inspirational ruler is conjunct your new solar ascendant. Hey, that can’t be bad in my book because Neptune is kinder to you than he is to anyone in the entire zodiac. Neptune is still in Aquarius…and Jupiter has moved into Aquarius too, but we will talk about that in a minute… Neptune in your 1st house will bring a lot of glamour into your life and maybe even some mystery. Most of all this is going to give you a lot of assistance and personal luck in just about everything you do that has your personal stamp on it. Especially anything which might be related to Aquarius. The only thing I would warn you about is that you could have a few mysterious health symptoms pop up. And Neptune is kind of known to bring some pretty awful health issues from time to time, so just be aware of your body and if it starts squawking at you about something, go get it checked out. I mean this Fish…you also have Chiron in that mix and this little asteroid sometimes has to do with disability issues. If you have an old illness that is prone to re-occurrence, you may have a flare up so be on the lookout for any symptomology. I don’t tell you this to worry you Fish, there are lots of other ways this can manifest and remember too, this is just a little solar chart. You have a natal chart which will totally override all but the most general auspices in this solar chart. Just pay a little more attention to your health is all. Neptune could also cause some changes in your appearance, from glam, as I stated earlier, to causing you to become paler and, perhaps a bit greyer. Add Mercury to the mix now because it is snuggling pretty close to old Neptune. This isn’t so great I am afraid because Neptune when mixed with Mercury can turn into some really fuzzy thinking. You may not be as articulate as usual, UNLESS you are truly inspired about something. And HOPEFULLY that inspirational topic which gets you all worked up and infuses others with the desire to go forth and conquer involves helping others in some humanitarian way. Not just because that is my underlying message now, but also because Aquarius rules humanitarian causes. The area which doesn’t look so great in your chart is the presence of Saturn in your 7th house. This isn’t that great of an auspice for your closest relationships I am afraid. Especially since Saturn is still in ultra analytical and critical Virgo. Saturn is opposing the sun and Uranus in your solar chart. Saturn opposing your sun is bad enough, but opposing Uranus too is going to really dull your sparkle with those closest to you. I don’t really want to dwell here, but just pay extra attention to your partners and do what you can to make things work. You are going to have to put in some extra time here my friends if you want to maintain these relationships. On a more positive note, you might meet a mature Virgo who makes you want to say “I DO!” Although, this person doesn’t have to be a Virgo, but rather they might just have a couple of Virgo qualities or work in a Virgo type profession. Mature romance is favored and if you are already married, things will go better than if you are not and do not want to get married. Mature partnering is greatly favored especially between people who work together or have a mutual service ideology…oh, and you must love dogs…and cats…and other furry creatures if you want to even have a chance with them.
