Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich


1 1/2 lbs. very thinly sliced rib eye or sirloin steak
American, provolone, or if you want true authenticity,
Chez Whiz cheese
1/ small red onion, or sweet white onion
1/2 green pepper
Sliced fresh mushrooms
Olive oil
Italian Roll, halved
Saute onion, pepper and mushrooms in olive oil. Remove vegetables and add sliced steak and sauté to desired doneness. If using Cheese Whiz, melt in microwave. Layer meat and vegetables onto Italian rolls half, and add choice of cheese. If using American or Provalone melt on bread in toaster oven before adding meat and veggies.
