Sausage Sage Stuffing


1 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 c. chopped celery
1 cup butter
1 egg
4 cups corn bread, crumbled
4 cups dried bread crumbs
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. dried sage leaves
1 tsp. dried thyme leaves
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 lb. pork sausage, crumbled & browned

Cook and stir onion and celery in margarine until onion is tender. Stir in about 1/3 of the corn bread. Turn into deep bowl. Add remaining ingredients. Cook 35 minutes at 350 degrees or until moisture is absent from middle and stuffing has pulled away from the sides of the dish.
